Our church gym and fellowship hall is a versatile, well-maintained space designed to support both hosting and outreach. Ideal for practices, leagues, banquets, and community events, the gym provides a welcoming environment where groups can gather, connect, and grow. By opening our facilities to the community, we aim to build meaningful relationships, serve local needs, and create opportunities for fellowship and positive impact beyond our church walls.

Rent out the FJBC Gym by the hour. Full court rental is $85/hr. Select a time to book, and make a request. One of our admins will approve your request as soon as possible.

FJBC Basic Waiver

1. Abide by the laws of the State of South Carolina, County of Charleston, and the rules and regulations of Fort Johnson Baptist Church. Compensate FJBC for any damages to or loss of any property during the period of occupancy.

2. The Lessee shall assume sole responsibility for the conduct and safety of all individuals attending the function.

3. Agree to render payment on all invoices as agreed to by all parties. A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed if payment has not been received by the close of business on the tenth calendar day from the date of the Invoice. Invoices that remain open after thirty calendar days will be grounds for immediate cancellation of this agreement.

4. In the event of cancellation by the Lessee, the Lessee shall be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 25% of the remaining total cost for the canceled days.

5. Agree not to serve or consume alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, or tobacco products on the FJBC premises.

6. Prohibit the use of items that may scar or deface the premisesi.e., nails/tacks/tape. Remove all literature, décor, and accessories at the exit time. THERE SHALL BE NO TAPE OF ANY KIND PLACED ON WALLS OR WOODEN DOORS. 

Tape may be used on glass surfaces or Lucite sign covers. Poster Tack/Mounting Putty may be used.

7. Lessee also agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Lessor, its agent, and employees against any and all claims and liability for damage, whether to a person or property that may arise during the Lessee's event. Lessee also agrees to pay in full for any damages or expenses incurred by the Lessor as a result of Lessee's use of premises.

8. Parties have a mutual understanding that the ministries of the church have priority over the booking. If/when a scheduled event needs to be changed, the church will offer a refund of the time lost or an option to have it moved to another day. 

9. All parties have signed the attached guidelines indicating that they are understood. Failure to comply will be grounds for cancellation of this agreement.
